 Red Neck Blue...

the cost of living's rising,
but my paychecks still the same.
Used the little I had saved
just to stay in the game...
If next year ends up like this year
Don't know what i'm gonna do..
I've always kept a peaceful face
but i'm turning red neck blue...

Everythings been set up
to protect the rich these days..
from middle class down to the poorest
of poor are the ones who pays..
when money won't cover basic needs
like groceries, water and gas...
our Goverment's spending billions
At the cost of the working class...
if next years as bad as this year
tell me what are ya gonna do...
will you stay all calm and peaceful
or will you turn a red neck blue???

Stop the War....

just how far
will or president go
to win a war
without telling us
what it is
we are fighting for?
it is NOT
what we thought
in the beginning.
How many lives
will be lost
before it ends?
Who will stand up
and say
it's time
we bring
our soldiers home?
how much money
will be lost
never to get back,
as medicade is cut,
medicare is cut,
jobs are lost
and oil prices
break us all.
The president once said
someday
social security
would be gone,
little did we know
he intended
to steal it...

CUT ALL TO HELL

The Cost of Living's rising everyday
when there aint no work a man can't pay
when there's farmers not farming and
white collar's blue in jail
you know the working man
got cut all to hell...

you wouldn't want to live
with these unemployed blues
Lord knows i gave my share
to pay this country's dues
I already sold my house
now my car is up for sale
this working man got cut
....all to hell....

the prices at the gas pumps
they keep rising...
if they ever go back down
it'll be surprising..
Used to have a good job
till the ecconamy went stale
this working man
got cut all to hell....

when there's farmers not farming
and white collars blue in jail
you know the working man
got cut all to hell....
this working man got cut all to hell...

 No Good For Me....

He called me last Sunday
said "babe are you free?"
deep down inside I
felt chills run through me..
I recalled his touch
then a old memory
I wanted him bad,
but he's no good for me.

He's no good for me
hey, I've been there before..
I don't need the pain
of a heartake any more
but maybe just maybe
that ain't how it will be
I wanted him bad
but he's no good for me..

I gave him chances
more than i can count..
He kept me in heartake
I had to get out..
Now it's been a long time
i've been happy and free
I wanted him bad
but he's no good for me...

he's no good for me
Hey I 've been there before
i don't need the pain
of heartake anymore
but maybe , just maybe
that ain't how it would be
I wanted him bad,
but he's no good for me...

The Balled of One Thin Dime...

Danny lives down in the valley
down where the sweet grass grows..
Danny lives down in the valley
where Jack Frost Nips at your toes..

Danny makes corn cops pipes
down where the sweet grass grows
Danny sells his corn cob pipes..
where Jack Frost nips at your nose..

He sells his pipes for one thin dime
Danny sells them for one thin dime
danny sells his corn cob pipes
in the valley for one thin dime..

One day old Charlie from down by the river
Stopped by like he does all the time..
Old Charlie brought fish from the river
and bought himself a pipe for a dime..

they talked about peace . talked about war
and they cooked that fish just fine...
they talked about kids & the lives they lived
And Charlie said the pipe smoked fine.....

then Charlie said:
What can you buy for dime old Danny?
what can you buy for a dime.?.
living in this day and time
tell me, what can you buy with a dime?

Danny said..
one thin dime brought you here Charlie
One thin dime bought your time.
I enjoyed a meal and it tasted fine
that's what i got for the dime...

that's what i got for a dime....

Now..
If you get down his way take some time
if you get down his way spend some time
You can buy a hand made corn cob pipe
from Danny for one thin dime..

Danny lives down in the valley
down where the sweet grass grows
Danny lives down in the valley
where Jack frost nips at your toes...

Today I'm going down to the valley
I'm taking some Lobster and wine...
I'm buying me a corn cob pipe
and i hope Old Charlie's on time..

we'll talk about peace. talk about war
And we'll cook that Lobster just fine..
we'll talk about our kids & the lives we live
and we'll all have a mighty fine time...

Repeat Chorus:
